We may not be able to trick or treat this weekend and our Halloween costumes may have to stay on the shelf but we can get cosy, light the pumpkins and watch some fantastic fun Halloween movies on demand and in the comfort of our own homes here are my top pick’s and where to watch them:

Family viewing:

Lets start with my ultimate Halloween film Hocus Pocus which is avaliable on demand on Disney Plus. Disney Plus also has The Nightmare Before Christmas, Frankenweenie, Halloweentown, Coco and of course the Toy Story of Terror.

Now TV has the original 1990 version of The Witches and you can also rent the 2020 version through Sky Cinema. Now TV also has E.T. , Casper, Coraline, Labyrinth and Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit.

Netflix have their own original release for Halloween: Hubie Halloween (rated 12) as well as The Adams Family (both the 1991 and 2019 versions), The Corpse Bride, The Worst Witch and the adorable Super Monsters; Vidas first Halloween.

Need something a little more grown up? Netflix also have a great selection of horror films; Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, Freddie Vs Jason, Insidious, The Conjuring, Scream and of course they have their award winning originals Ratched and Haunting of Bly Manor, perfect for spooky season.

BBC iplayer also a mixture of on demand films for the whole family from Room on the Broom to The Shining. But if you want to get your teeth into a series a highly recommend His Dark Materials series one, a dark fantasy story with an impressive cast based on the Phillip Pullman’s books, finish the first series now before the second series begins in November.

Whatever you get up this spooky season have a great time and stay safe.
