Restaurant Review: Alfredo’s, Lisburn

Fancy giving the sauce pans and yourself a rest tonight. Well it is Monday, we have lost an hour’s sleep this weekend and the sun is shining  in the sky. Spring is on its way and Alfredo’s has a spring menu which is sure to leave you grinning from ear to ear.

Alfredo’s on the square in Lisburn is the perfect venue for a family treat or date night. Celebrating their 1st Birthday this month I had the pleasure of popping out earlier in the month and tasting some mouth-watering treats with some crisp white wine and my favourite tipple Ruby Blue pimped Prosecco.

I was greeted by their  friendly staff and seated in their newly renovated restaurant. Serenaded by beautiful Italian tunes  I felt like I was back on the edge of the Venice lagoon.

The food was exquisite.I had cured salmon to start which is not something I would normally order of a menu but which was divine. Following up with a five hour slow cooked roast shank of lamb which just fell from the bone. Cooked to perfection and perfectly in season. I would recommend for the Easter holidays.

Finishing the night off with some home made blueberry Gelato I was in heaven. It really is the perfect little Italian getaway right on my doorstep. Now point me in the direction of the gym I really need to work off some of these calories.

Treat yourself tonight go on you deserve it!
