Happy 1st November, the leaves are falling off the trees, my Halloween fancy dress is in the wash and I’m starting to embrace my winter wardrobe. Well I say embrace,I’m searching for hats, layers, faux furs and some thigh high boots online with a big mug of tea in hand.Good thing I attended Belfast Fashion week earlier this month for some inspiration (here I am with some of my blogger buddies, the two gorgeous fashionistas; Louise from Real Elle Woods and Kathryn from Fabulous and Something.)
As always I try to get a long to the High Street Heaven night. It’s one of my favourites and it never disappoints, I see all the new trends and how to style them to perfection. This year the fashion week team made the styles look effortless for all ages and all sizes using an assortment of models including the general public on their Saturday night People’s Catwalk show.
My top picks from the high street night had to be this fabulous pink coat and co-ordinated dress and jacket from Diamond Dolls.
These amazing gold and sequin dresses from George at Asda which I will be picking up with the weekly shop as they will be perfect for numerous Christmas nights out.
This whole outfit from Oasis I can see this as the perfect little Christmas Day ensemble for running from carol service to family get together and even for a cheeky tipple in the pub.
And last but not least my favourite outfit this cosy pj set from Boux Avenue perfect for snuggling on the sofa when the festivities get too much.
What do you think? Would you wear my picks? Right I’m back to my shopping.

PS I forget to say as well as having the general public the fashion week catwalk also hosted some gorgeous little cutie mini-models this year. So if you have little ones I would book the next season in your diary as there were so many cute little outfits on show, it was starting to make me broody.
