Last night I had the pleasure of attending the VIP opening of The Vintage rooms (part of The Plough Venue in Hillsborough.) An amazing new venue with three dedicated floors for Gin lovers, vodka lovers and whiskey lovers alike.

I found the interiors to be quirky, with lots of  amazing urban art work and interesting light fixtures, lots of  plentiful comfortable leather bound seating. Even with the large crowd which attended last night I found lots of spaces to stand,sit and boogie. And some gorgeous outside areas to take in the night air.

The drinks were flowing (kettle one high balls, Beefeater Gin and Tonics, Jameson whiskey mules) and the canapés where plentiful and delicious (I especially loved the tempura prawns). All food and drink was served by friendly smiling helpful staff in cute uniforms. I especially loved the bar men’s bow ties.

Overall it was a fantastic night with live music and a fabulous atmosphere.I can’t wait to come back and bring all my girls and next time I want a big slice of this cake!!  Emer D xx
